(SportsNetwork. Tom Wilson Jersey .com) - The Winnipeg Jets have hit their first bump in the road under head coach Paul Maurice. The playoff hopefuls look to snap their longest losing streak under Maurice as they visit the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night. Watch the Jets vs. Avalanche live on TSN Jets at 7:30pm ct/8:30pm et or listen to the game live on TSN Radio 1290 Winnipeg. The Jets hit the road for a game following a winless homestand (0-2-1) that has dropped them five points back of the Dallas Stars for the second wild card berth in the Western Conference. Winnipegs three-game slide is its longest since an 0-5 stretch from Jan. 2-11, a rut that led to the firing of coach Claude Noel the following day. The Jets won their first four games under Maurice and went 9-2-0 in his first 11 contests on the bench before this current 2-3-2 stretch. Winnipeg ended its residency with a 5-3 loss to the Ottawa Senators, getting goals from Bryan Little, Dustin Byfuglien and Tobias Enstrom. However, Ondrej Pavelec did not make it past the second period in net, lifted after allowing five goals on 20 shots faced. Al Montoya halted all 12 shots he faced in relief. "Weve been doing everything we can to keep ourselves in games," said Byfuglien. "Theres going to be nights it goes the way it does and thats what happened tonight. We have to find a way, stick to our game plan and just move on." Pavelec should get a chance to rebound tonight and is 3-1-1 in his career versus the Avs with a 1.96 goals against average. Colorado had a four-game winning streak snapped on Saturday with a 2-1 setback to the St. Louis Blues in a key Central Division showdown. The Avalanche are third in the division, three points back of the second-place Chicago Blackhawks but 11 up on the Minnesota Wild, who sit in fourth. Semyon Varlamov had 23 saves and P.A. Parenteau got the Avs on the board with a goal at the 8:57 mark of the third period. "We certainly had our chances to not only tie the game, but win it," said Colorado captain Gabriel Landeskog. Matt Duchene and Ryan OReilly both had assists to extend point streaks. Duchene has three goals and eight assists over a career-high seven-game run, while OReilly has notched three goals and seven helpers over his past six games. Nathan MacKinnon, though, had the longest point streak by an 18-year-old in NHL history snapped at 13 consecutive games. Colorado also saw forward Paul Stastny exit the loss after just one shift due to a back injury. He is day-to-day. The Avalanche are likely to start Varlamov in the second contest of a four- game homestand tonight and he has gone 6-3-1 with a 2.56 GAA in 11 previous encounters with the Jets franchise. The Avs won their first two meetings with the Jets this season before a 2-1 setback in overtime at home on Dec. 29. Winnipeg has won six of its last eight trips to Colorado. Justin Williams Jersey . Bobrovsky posted a 2-0-1 record with a 1.58 goals-against average and .950 save percentage to help the Blue Jackets (35-26-6) gain five of a possible six points last week. He capped the week by making 32 saves and stopping 2-of-4 shootout attempts in a 2-1 win over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. Evgeny Kuznetsov Jersey .J. Fair didnt have many chances to be the main option for Syracuse last season.DENVER -- As the winning streak climbs, so does the stress level for San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich. At least, that was Tim Duncans assessment after the Spurs ran their streak to 16 straight by beating the Denver Nuggets 133-102 on Friday night. This is their longest regular-season win streak since reeling off 17 in a row from Feb. 29 to March 31, 1996. And Popovich seems to be growing more antsy with every victory. "Oh, very. Very, very, very. Very much," Duncan said. "Hes a teacher and wants to teach. He wants the good and the bad. Even through this streak, hes been on us a tremendous amount, making sure we dont rest on just the wins, but were learning from game to game." Popovich found a teaching moment in the third quarter with the game well in hand. His team relaxed on one possession and allowed an easy transition basket by Randy Foye. Popovich quickly called timeout and voiced his displeasure to his team. "Even as much as were up, he was still on us the entire game," Duncan said. Hard to find too much fault with the Spurs effort in this one. Marco Belinelli scored 27 points, Duncan had 20 and the Spurs scored a season high in points. San Antonio also maintained a three-game lead for the top seed in the Western Conference. Its a quick turnaround for the Spurs, who host New Orleans on Saturday. "This (winning streak) is great challenge," Duncan said. "Its a big challenge. People can get lackadaisical and look past certain games. Weve done a good job of not doing that." Foye scored 20 for a banged-up Nuggets squad that lost for the fourth time in five games. Wilson Chandler was out with a strained groin, while Timofey Mozgov and Kenneth Faried were hampered by an illness. Faried still finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds. "Theyre devastated, injury-wise," Popovich said. "Its not a fair deal." Still, a 31-point loss was hard for Nuggets coach Brian Shaw to absorb, even if he is missing quite a few starters to season-ending injuries. "That was an embarrassing loss," Shaw said. "Just from every standpoint of the game -- defensively, body langguage, energy, just embarrassing, and it starts with me, just doing whatever I need to do to get our guys prepared and to come out and give the kind of energy and effort we need, especially playing the top team in the league. Mike Gartner Jersey. " Belinelli stepped into the starting lineup with Danny Green hobbled by an inflamed right foot and quickly found his rhythm. Belinelli scored 14 in the first quarter and finished 10 of 15 from the field. "We really love to move the ball together, thats why were winning together right now," Belinelli said. Popovich insisted before the game that hes not going to overextend his players to secure the No. 1 seed in the West. His goal is to keep them "as healthy and energetic as possible at this time of year." The veteran coach didnt have to worry about taxing his team too much in this one, building a 25-point lead midway through the third quarter and resting most of his starters for a majority of the fourth. All this winning so close to the playoffs is making Popovich a little anxious because, "maybe this comes too easy," he said. "Losing is not a bad thing at this point of the year." Trailing 20-14 in the first, the Spurs closed out the quarter on a 17-3 run. The Nuggets couldnt rally back into the game, like they did Wednesday in San Antonio when they trailed the Spurs by 24 only to make it close down the stretch, before falling 108-103. "We just let them do basically what they wanted to do," Foye said. "We had more fight on their court last game than we did on our court tonight. Thats unacceptable. We didnt bring it tonight and against a team like that if you dont bring it, its going to be a long night for you." NOTES: San Antonio kept Matt Bonner (strained calf) at home because, "he wasnt going to play anyway," Popovich said. ... The Spurs finished with 37 assists, including seven by C Tiago Splitter. ... Nuggets F Jan Vesely (bruised rib cage) was back on the court after missing two games. He finished with five points. ... Reserve G Evan Fournier had 15 points for the Nuggets. ... Denver trailed by as many as 35 points. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

PHOENIX - Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington has pleaded guilty to charges that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend. Solomon Hill Jersey . Washington had a change of plea hearing Monday in Maricopa County Superior Court. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and a judge set sentencing for April 23. Washington had been facing an April 30 trial in the case after originally pleading not guilty to aggravated assault and trespassing charges. He was accused of grabbing his ex-girlfriend, the mother of the couples daughter, by the throat and shoving her to the ground during an argument at her apartment last May. His ex-girlfriend told police that Washington pushed her with two hands, causing her to fall and break her right collarbone. Anthony Davis Jersey . -- Ben Bishop had a milestone game against one of the NHLs greatest goalies. Jrue Holiday Jersey . BRUINS STORM BACK TO TAKE GAME TWO The Boston Bruins rallied from a 3-1 deficit, scoring four unanswered goals, to win Game Two, 5-3 over the Montreal Canadiens.Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kam Chancellor bobbed his head in celebration as he crossed the goal line on his game-clinching 90-yard interception return. The Seattle Seahawks resurgent defense has them thinking repeat. Another dominating second half performance has them one step closer. Russell Wilson tossed three touchdown passes and the Seahawks punched their ticket into the NFC Championship Game with a 31-17 NFC Divisional Playoff victory over the Carolina Panthers on Saturday night. Seattle will play the winner of Sundays NFC Divisional Playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys in next Sundays conference title game at CenturyLink Field. Chancellors pick-six came with the Panthers marching down the field looking to cut a 24-10 deficit to a one-possession game. Faced with a 2nd-and-4 at the Seattle 13 with a little over six minutes left, Cam Newton was looking to hit Ed Dickson on the right side of the field near the numbers. The ball-hawking Chancellor read Newtons eyes and cut in front of Dickson before strolling down the left sideline for the easy score. Chancellor had 10 tackles to go with that interception and showcased his athleticism by hurdling over the Carolina offensive line twice on a pair of Graham Gano field goal attempts at the end of the first half. I dont know if a strong safety can have a stronger game than Kam Chancellor did tonight, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. Kelvin Benjamins 15-yard touchdown catch with 2:34 left was the first fourth- quarter points allowed by the Seahawks in the last seven games. Their top- ranked defense has given up just 56 points during that stretch, including just 20 in the second half. Wilson, who was 8-of-8 on third down for 199 yards, finished 15-of-22 for 268 yards and added 22 yards on the ground. Jermaine Kearse caught three passes for 129 yards and a touchdown and Luke Willson had four receptions for 68 yards and a score for the Seahawks, who have won eight straight postseason games in Seattle. We really clicked on all cylinders, Wilson said. Its exciting, but the jobs not done. Marshawn Lynch carried the ball 14 times for 59 yards. Newton completed 23-of-36 passes for 246 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He also ran for 37 yards for Carolina, which won its final four games of the regular season to win the NFC South and qualify for the postseason. The Panthers beat the Cardinals last Saturday in the NFC Wild Card round. Custom New Orleans Pelicans Jerseys. Benjamin hauled in seven passes for 75 yards and two scores, while Greg Olsen caught four balls for 58 yards in defeat. The Panthers have lost five consecutive meetings against Seattle. We made some mistakes, we missed some opportunities, Carolina coach Ron Rivera said. Steven Hauschkas 37-yard field goal on the first play of the fourth staked Seattle to a 17-10 advantage, and its defense forced a three-and-out on Carolinas ensuing possession. Wilson hit Willson, who broke free from two defenders to pick up 29 yards on a 3rd-and-6, then found him again on the next third down. Willson hauled in a 25-yard score along the right seam on a 3rd-and-10 to extend Seattles advantage to 24-10 with 10:26 remaining. Both defenses came out strong in the early going as neither offense recorded a first down on their opening five series combined. The Panthers were faced with a 3rd-and-5 on their third touch. Newton lofted a pass along the right sideline intended for Philly Brown, but Richard Sherman leapt up and made an interception. Wilson rolled right and hit Kearse for a 33-yard completion on a 3rd-and-12, but a Ricardo Lockette taunting penalty on an ensuing 3rd-and-12 took Seattle out of field-goal range. Seattles defense, however, forced another Carolina giveaway when Tony McDaniel pounced on a loose ball at the Carolina 28 following a fumbled exchange between Newton and Jonathan Stewart. The miscue led to a 16-yard Doug Baldwin TD reception for the games first points with 56 seconds to play in the first. Carolina answered on its next sequence when Newton fired a 7-yard TD pass to Benjamin in between two Seattle defenders on a quick slant. The Seahawks counter punched, though, as Wilson floated a perfectly-thrown pass for Kearse along the left seam on a 3rd-and-7. Kearse made a one-handed catch in stride, dove near the goal line and was able to touch the top of the left pylon with the ball for a 63-yard score and a 14-7 cushion late in the second. Gano nailed a 35-yard field goal on the final play of the half to trim the margin to 14-10 entering the break. Game Notes The Seahawks are the first reigning Super Bowl champion to win a playoff game since the 2005 New England Patriots ... Seattle has outscored opponents 62-7 in the fourth quarter during its last seven games ... Seattle was 7-of-13 on third down, while Carolina finished 9-of-16. Cheap NFL JerseysCheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

CHICAGO -- After nine seasons in Japan and three years in the minor leagues, Cubs starter Tsuyoshi Wada finally picked up that elusive first major league victory. Zach Laskey Jersey . Wada (1-1) left little doubt to Monday nights outcome, pitching seven strong innings as the Chicago Cubs defeated the Colorado Rockies 4-1. "Im so happy for him," catcher John Baker said about Wadas first win. "Its great, when youre having a tough season like were having, to have little victories like that." In only his third career start in the majors, Wada cut through the Colorado lineup, allowing one run and five hits. It was a far cry from his last outing, when he lasted just four innings and gave up five runs in a loss to San Diego. The sole blemish on Wadas performance came in the sixth when the Rockies got three hits, capped by Nolan Arenados RBI single. "He executed pitches, got some big outs when he needed to and got out of traffic that developed late," manager Rick Renteria said. "He did a nice job and gave us some innings." The 33-year-old Wada won 107 games over nine seasons in Japan. He signed a two-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles two seasons ago but injured his elbow soon after joining the club and underwent undergo Tommy John surgery in May 2012. He signed with the Cubs in December 2013. "Its the second time I pitched in Chicago, so it was a little more relaxed," Wada said through a translator. "Im happy about this first win." Pedro Strop worked out of a jam in the eighth inning and Hector Rondon worked a perfect ninth for his 13th save in 16 chances. Yohan Flande (0-3) struck out eight in 6 2-3 innings. Those were his career bests in his fifth start. "Flande put us in position to win that game," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "We just couldnt put together a big inning." Flande faced the minimum through three innings, but the Cubs got to the Rockies starter for two runs in the fourth. Emilio Bonifacio led off with a single and Arismendy Alcantara doubled, setting up Rizzos RBI grounder and Justin Ruggianos sacrifice fly. Chicago added two more runs in the eighth against Nick Masset. Baker scored on an errant pickoff throw and Rizzo singled for his 58th RBI this season. TRAINERS ROOM Rockies: SS Troy Tulowitzki (left hip) underwent an acupuncture-like procedure in Philadelphia. ... 1B Justin Morneau (strained neck) was scheduled to a make a rehab start with the Triple-A Colorado Springs. Manager Walt Weiss said Morneau could return as soon as Tuesday, the first day hes eligible to come off the 15-day disabled list. ... LHP Boone Logan (intestinal condition) was also scheduled to make his first rehab appearance with Colorado Springs. Cubs: Renteria is encouraged by left-handed reliever Kyuji Fujikawas rehab assignment in Triple-A Iowa. "I can say that hes responding well after his outings," Renteria said. "Well continue to monitor and see where hes at. All indications, I can say that hes doing fine." Fujikawa, 34, underwent Tommy John surgery in June 2013. UP NEXT In the second game of the four-game series, Edwin Jackson (5-11, 5.68) starts for the Cubs on Tuesday night, looking for his first win since June 20. He will face Jorge De La Rosa (11-6, 4.19). GLOVEWORK The Rockies produced two phenomenal defensive plays. Third baseman Arenado showcased his skills in the sixth inning. On a hard hit ball by Alcantara, Arenado dived to his right, gloved the two-hopper and made a quick throw from his knees to get the speedy Alcantara at first. In the eighth inning with runners at the corners, shortstop Charlie Culberson made a diving stop up the middle, flipped the ball from his glove to second baseman D.J. LeMahieu, who then threw to first to complete the inning ending double play. Custom Los Angeles Rams Jerseys . He was 19. The academy says the freshman running back from Knoxville, Tenn., died at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore on Tuesday with his family by his side. "We are all so very heartbroken by the death of Midshipman Will McKamey," Naval Academy Superintendent VADM Mike Miller said in a statement. "This is devastating news for his family, his classmates, his teammates and the entire Naval Academy family. We offer our deepest condolences to Wills family, friends and shipmates in the wake of this tragedy." He collapsed during spring practice Saturday and was airlifted to the Shock Trauma Center. Earlier this week, McKameys family said in a statement released through the school that their son did not sustain "a bad hit or unusual or extreme contact" in that practice. "The Navy coaches have poured through the films of practice and seen nothing more than Will carrying the football normally, doing what he truly loves," the family said. McKameys father, Randy, a high schooll football coach at Grace Christian Academy in Knoxville, posted on Twitter that his son underwent surgery Saturday to relieve pressure on the brain. Rob Havenstein Jersey. Will McKamey played for his father and ran for more than 2,000 yards as a senior at Grace Christian in 2012. He suffered a head injury during a game late in the season that caused him to be hospitalized. His family said he had been cleared to resume playing football after seeing four neurosurgeons and undergoing several CAT scans and MRI exams. The 5-foot-9, 170-pound McKamey did not play in a game last season. He was an oceanography major in 3rd Company at the Naval Academy. "During this most difficult of times, first and foremost, our prayers and thoughts turn to Randy, Kara and their beautiful family," Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo said. "Our deepest and most sincere condolences go out to their entire family and friends. As our Navy football family mourns the loss of one of our brothers, we also celebrate and honour his life. He loved his family, his friends and his teammates. The Brotherhood loves you! Keep the ball high and tight in Heaven." Messis teammates tossed him in the air after his record-breaking goal, and lined up in an honour guard as he jogged off the pitch while soaking up the Camp Nou applause.Messis night started when he earned a foul from Sevillas Ever Banega on the edge of the area. Messi stepped up and curled the ball over the barrier with an elegant strike to claim the history-making goal he had searched for in vain in three previous matches.Sevilla had yet to manage a shot on goal when Unai Emerys side was gifted an equalizer from Jordi Alba two minutes after halftime when he knocked in a cross.Sevillas celebration didnt last long because Neymar headed Barcelona back in front two minutes later when he rose up to score Xavi Hernandezs free kick.Barcelonas Luis Suarez has been scoreless since his return from his biting ban, but he made up for it by making his fourth assist for Ivan Rakitic to score against his former team in the 65th.Neymar crossed for Messi to dive and tap home his second goal. With a victory seemingly slipping away late in the third quarter, his quick scoring flurry helped Golden State regain control early in the fourth. Henrik Sedin Jersey . Sharper briefly appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court, where his arraignment was postponed until Feb. 20 at the request of his lawyers. They issued a statement saying he would be exonerated. Prosecutors then filed a motion to increase Sharpers bail to $10 million and outlined details of investigations involving him in Las Vegas, Tempe, Ariz.TORONTO -- Phil Kessel had the game-winning goal, but it was his near fight with a familiar foe that sparked the Toronto Maple Leafs to a comeback victory Saturday night. Kessel scored the second of three straight goals for the Maple Leafs in the third period as they recovered to beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-1 at Air Canada Centre. He assisted on the Maple Leafs third goal and almost had the first Gordie Howe hat trick - a goal, an assist and a fight - of his NHL career when he and pesky Alexandre Burrows scuffled and just about dropped the gloves late in the second period. It would have been the second fight of the season for Kessel and Burrows, who officially scrapped back on Nov. 2 in Vancouver. The two each got roughing minors in Saturdays game, with Burrows getting an additional minor for high-sticking. "(Kessel) wasnt too thrilled about all that and neither was anyone on the bench," said linemate James van Riemsdyk. "Maybe you can look at that as something that got Phil a little bit excited." At the time of the fracas, the Canucks were clinging to a 1-0 lead on a goal by Ryan Kesler in the last minute of the first. That all changed in the third period, when the Leafs broke out with three goals in the span of 4:42. "It was a one-goal hockey game and here we had an opportunity to pull a hockey game out of the fire by scoring one goal and giving ourselves a chance," said Leafs coach Randy Carlyle. "We have a break coming, and it would make everybody feel a lot better about themselves with a win here versus a loss." The win was the 11th in the past 14 games for the Leafs and their seventh straight at home. "About six games ago, we really focused in on playing well going into the break," said Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf. "We feel weve done that. Weve gotten some big wins. We wanted to get as many points as we could going into the break and we did that." The Canucks lost their seventh straight game and their 16th in their past 20. Theyve scored just 37 goals in that span. Vancouver is now 8-23-5 when scoring less than three goals in game (excluding the shootout). The Canucks are a near perfect 19-1-4 when scoring three or more. "Weve dug ourselves a pretty big hole here, but we need to look at it as a challenge when we get bback," said Canucks coach John Tortorella. Daniel Sedin Jersey. "I do believe well be healthier to fight our way through it. Were not dead and gone. Weve allowed a lot of teams to get back in and pass us, as far the playoffs are concerned. But we still have enough games to crawl back in." Mason Raymond and van Riemsdyk also scored for Toronto. Jonathan Bernier made 23 saves for the win. Roberto Luongo stopped 30 shots in defeat. Vancouvers lone goal came when Kesler took a pass in the high slot from Chris Higgins and flicked a weak wrist shot at the goal. Bernier tried to stop it with his blocker, but it deflected downwards into the net. The Canucks held onto that lead after two periods. "We just wanted to stick with it," van Riemsdyk said. "We know we didnt play necessarily as well as we could. We were playing a little bit loose with the puck. We got back to just cycling them down low and trying to create off that." Raymond got Toronto on the board at 7:23 when he circled the Canucks net and snuck a wrist shot past Luongo for his 16th goal of the season. The Leafs then took their first lead of the game at 10:03. On a delayed penalty call, with a sixth attacker on the ice for Bernier, Kessel snapped a shot near the Canucks blueline that found its way past a screened Luongo. It was Kessels 31st of the season. Tyler Bozaks assist on the goal was the 100th of his NHL career. Two minutes and two seconds after the Leafs took the lead, van Riemsdyk made it 3-1 when his shot at the side of the goal bounced of Alexander Edler and into the Canucks goal. It was his 24th of the season. "We got to be really happy about the last month or so," Bernier said. "Weve been playing really well. Now we just got to take some rest and hit the reset button because the real season is coming after (the break). We have to make sure were ready for the next 22 games." Happy Canada Day! Lets take a quick look at a few NBA Topics. Larry Csonka Jersey . 1. Andrea Bargnani: If the proposed trade with the New York Knicks goes through this will be a good landing spot for him. He wont have the pressure on him to be ‘The Guy with Carmelo Anthony around and his ability to space the floor with his distance shooting (erratic at times) will be a help to their team. The Knicks are obviously banking on the fact that hes got potential that has yet to be realized and a change of scenery could do it for him. Only time will tell if this is the right risk for them but I expect a new environment will do wonders for him, at least temporarily. The key is his willingness to truly commit to the game and lay it all on the line which hes been reluctant to do. Dont discount the fact that the Brooklyn Nets swung a big trade with the Celtics for Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce. This is a reaction to that as well as a team seeing a guy that can help them in an area of need. Former Raptors assistant coach and current Knicks assistant Jim Todd coached Andrea and Im sure hes spoken extensively with GM Glen Grunwald & Mike Woodson about him. 2. Steve Novak: Part of the proposed Bargnani trade has this veteran sharpshooter coming to Toronto. I like him. The Raptors were an inconsistent three-point shooting team the past few years and hell provide a solid veteran presence off the bench and hes a good locker room guy. Lifetime 43per cent shooter from behind the arc and will be a guy that can open things up for teammates with his consistency. Overall, Bargnani trade is addition by subtraction with the picks and cap savings being the primary help. Novak wont hurt them if this trade gets done. 3. Kevin Martin: Hes a free agent. I know the Thunder are in a luxury tax bind, but if he walks what do you truly think of the James Harden trade? Might as well have let him stay for this season and then moved him and given yourself a legitimate opportunity to win a title. Martin will have plenty of suitors on the market as long as he is reasonable in his contract demands. Hes been a consistent three-point shooter throughout his career and his scoring knack is valuable. 4. Monta Ellis: He has decided to opt out of the final year of his deal in Milwaukee. The man can score points (19.4 ppg in his career) yet hes a volume scorer who has failed to shoot above 43 per cent the past two seasons. My belief is that hed be an ideal guy for a team as a sixth man because we all know hes coming into the game to light it up. You live with that a bit more because you need the boost as opposed to a starting player who youre looking to for reliable or predictable play. Hes got his boosters and just as many detractors. That being said, as a sixth man in the right up-tempo system hed be a blast to watch. 5. O.J. Mayo: I thought he settled down this past season and played a decent brand of ball for coach Rick Carlisle. He shot it well from three-point range (41 per cent), the best in his career and at 15.3 points per game hes a guy that can give you the pretty steady output that is so valued from a back court player. He was up and down in his time in Memphis but in a contract year he performed pretty well. Is that a result of a guy being in a contract year or has he truly matured? Thats the question scouts have about him that I think to this point is still inconclusive. I see teams trying to offer him a shorter term deal if they can get away with it. Hell get paid though… he scores. Always need that. Ryan Tannehill Jersey .J. - New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara left Monday nights game against the Indianapolis Colts with a torn biceps. Bob Griese Jersey ." Also, defencemen "were found to be at a higher risk of suffering a concussion than other players, perhaps due to turning their back to retrieve pucks along the boards, which leaves them vulnerable.Ottawa, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Anze Kopitar and Trevor Lewis scored less than two minutes apart early in the third period, helping the Los Angeles Kings spoil Dave Camerons head coaching debut with a 5-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators. The two goals came almost immediately after Ottawas Mark Stone scored short- handed to tie the game at 2-2 just 1:44 into the final frame. Matt Greene, Justin Williams and Tanner Pearson also tallied to help the Kings bounce back after two straight losses. Jake Muzzin posted a career-best three assists, while Jonathan Quick came up with 32 saves for Los Angeles. There were two or three times in the game where we had good responses, Kings head coach Darryl Sutter said. Its not easy sailing. Cameron was elevated from assistant coach on Monday to replace Paul McLean, who was fired after the Senators dropped 13 of their last 17 games. Ottawa was able to overcome a 2-0 deficit on goals by Bobby Ryan and Stone, but gave up three in the third period to fall to 1-4-1 in its last six outings. Jared Cowen notched a goal and an assist in the loss, with Craig Anderson stopping 31-of-35 shots for Ottawa. I dont think we can be too upset with the effort, said Cowen. We just have to bring it for the whole game. A failed clearing attempt by Kings defenseman Drew Doughty led to Stones equalizer, but he and his teammates quickly regrouped to give Los Angeles back the lead while still on a 5-on-4 power play. Kopitar raced to the net with the Kings controlling the puck in the Ottawa zone, and Doughty found him with a pinpoint pass that set up a successful backhander that came just 36 seconds after Stones goal. Los Angeles continued to pressure the Senators while back ahead, and Lewis converted a centering pass from Tyler Toffoli while stationed in front of a defenseless Annderson to push the lead to 4-2 with 4:02 elapsed in the third. Matt Moore Jersey. Anderson was pulled for an extra attacker with just over a minute to play, and the Senators plan worked when Cowen sent a shot that deflected off Muzzins stick and past Quick with 1:21 still to go. However, Pearson fought off a check shortly after the ensuing faceoff and fired the puck into the vacated net to seal it with 56.6 seconds left. The Senators started out very strong in Camerons debut, peppering Quick with eight shots before the Kings recorded their first. They outshot Los Angeles 14-5 for the first period, but Quick kept it scoreless by making several impressive saves -- including a close-range denial of Alex Chiasson that held up after a review. Los Angeles then went ahead just 1:47 into the second, when Greene wound up and fired a drive that caromed past a screened Anderson through heavy traffic. The Kings struck again near the midway mark of the period. Williams beat Sens defender Erik Karlsson for a puck sent down the boards by Muzzin, then fired a wrister through Andersons pads for a 2-0 advantage. A tremendous individual effort by Ryan enabled Ottawa to close the gap less than five minutes later. The talented wing blew past defenseman Brayden McNabb with a nifty move, then got Quick out of position before depositing home a backhand attempt. Game Notes The Kings had scored just eight goals over their previous five games ... Forward Milan Michalek (upper body) and defenseman Marc Methot (back/hip) both missed a second straight game for Ottawa, which also played without forward Clarke MacArthur (illness) ... The Kings improved to 12-0-3 this season when scoring first and 9-2-0 when recording a power-play goal ... Doughty finished with two assists. Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

Danny Wright: Youre a stylish guy, what is your favourite NHL jersey design?Ron Duguay: Wow. Ryan Tannehill Jersey . Probably because I have a connection to New York it has to be that New York Rangers jersey. I like all original six… but I have to say the New York Rangers jersey.   #495492945 / gettyimages.com DW: What was the greatest highlight in your NHL playing career?RD: Every players goal is to win a Stanley Cup. I made it to the finals once playing with the New York Rangers against the Montreal Canadiens. It was a combination of playing with the Rangers, playing against Montreal because I grew up watching Montreal, and being in a finals. Just that whole series, for me its more of a team goal rather than individual goals. Ive scored 40 goals which was great, Ive had some 30 goal seasons, all that was fun, but theres nothing like sharing something you do as a team. We beat the Islanders in 79, at Madison Square Gardens in Game 6. That was a big upset. That whole two weeks in New York City… it doesnt get much better than that. Madison Square Garden rocks, and I havent heard it like that since, even this past year with the Rangers in the playoffs, it was never as loud as what we went through in 1979. For me I just love being able to do something as a team and share it with teammates.DW: If you could steal the talent from one current NHL player, whom would you choose?RD: Probably Sidney Crosby, the obvious choice. Not only do I like his skill level, but also I like his compete level. Hes consistent, rarely are you going to see Sidney Crosby have a night off. A lot of it has to do with his dedication, and hes very strong and very fit, so he can perform hard. I like to be noticeable on the ice, and hes noticeable in the way he competes and plays hard. I love Sidney Crosby as a player.   #490107173 / gettyimages.com DW: Speaking of being noticeable on the ice, during your playing days your long curly hair, which would blow behind you as you skated, was pretty noticeable. What I have here are pictures of famous athlete hairstyles – and I know you judged the 1980 Miss Universe Pageant so Im aware youre a good judge…RD: Of women…DW: (laughter) Were going to turn the judgment to hair, and ask you to grade these athletes hairstyles with either an A, B, C, D or F, and tell us why you gave them that grade.RD: Okay.DW: First, weve got Troy Polamalu.   #72155695 / gettyimages.com RD: Yes, thats an F. Thats way too long. He looks like a sheepdog.DW: Coco Crisp.   #113510047 / gettyimages.com RD: Coco, I would give him a B. I love curly hair, I sort of had an Afro myself back in the 1970s. Thats not a great Afro, but Ill give him a B. Hes got it groomed nicely.DW: Clay Matthews with the headbanger look.   #133312791 / gettyimages.com RD: Ive never liked that look. Its too scruffy; I like to be a little more polished, so Im going to give him a C because I would never wear my hair that way.DW: Dennis Rodman.   #51975870 / gettyimages.com RD: Pass (laughter). Yes, if youre looking to grab some attention, thats what you do to your head. Would I ever do that to my hair, no! So he gets another F.DW: Lanny McDonald. Were looking at the moustache here more than anything else.   #53266895 / gettyimages.com RD: Right. Again, I like something thats groomed… that, its overgrown. For Lanny it fit him well. It was a good, different look for him and he stood out. But its not something that I ever thought, “oh I want one of those.” I have to give him a C.DW: Mark Davis, hes the Raiders Principal Owner.   #452090749 / gettyimages.com RD: Umm, Im just trying to think what kind of bowl he used to cut that hair. I dont want to be rude, but thats awful. Theres no way he went to a stylist for that haircut. That was for sure done at home. Hes doing the best with what he has, but I know he can do better than that, so Ill give him a D.DW: With Dumb and Dumber To coming out his haircut reminds me of Lloyd, Jim Carreys characters haircut. RD: Definitely.DW: Patrick Kane, the playoff mullet. (Image Courtesy of CBS Sports)RD: That looks come and gone. Because hes a decent looking guy I think he can get away with it. The mullets not too long, I prefer my hair long in the back so I understand what hes doing, its just that its out of proportion from the top to the back. I certainly wouldnt be doing that look now, so Id give him a C.DW: Okay.RD: I havent seen an A yet!DW: How ‘bout this, Carlos Valderrama.   #79041600 / gettyimages.com RD: Ya, Carlos. Again I like the curly hair, but theres the wow and then theres the crazy. Actually, I dont mind the colour of his hair, because I like the lighter, blondish colour. Would I do that look? Maybe for a week, so Im going to give him a B for that.DW: Andre Agassi.   #51040978 / gettyimages.com RD: The ultimate mullet. In fact, people say that was a wig. At the time it was fine, because mullets were in, and he was a tennis player so it was acceptable. I would probably have given him a B for that look.DW: And finally, Jaromir Jagr.   #228184 / gettyimages.com RD: Jagr, umm… ya, thats a real bad mullet. Like, really bad! People stopped making fun of me when he came around. They really did.DW: He out-did you I guess?RD: Ya. His was so bad that they just stopped on me and concentrated on him. I want to thank him for that, so Im actually going to give him a B just to thank him for having a bad mullet. (Image Courtesy of Greatest Hockey Legends)DW: No A grades in the group, youre a tough critic.RD: Yup, no As. Nothing.DW: You were in some pretty fantastic commercials back in your playing days; what was your favourite endorsement to be apart of?RD: Well, I did Sasson Jeans. And because I wasnt by myself, I was with a group of my teammates we had a blast shooting it. And the attention we got from it, people either loved it or hated it. Most people love it, and I still hear it today so, it would have to be “Ou la la, Sasson.”DW: You guest starred on Beverly Hills 90210, what was it like to guest star on such a big show of the time?RD: I did it with Cam Neely, and they kept us in our comfort zone on the ice and in a scrimmage or game. We just had a couple lines, so because I liked the entertainment business I was happy to be there. They didnt give us too much to do… it was easy. I enjoyed it; I wanted more, they didnt give me enough!DW: If you could choose one show to guests star on – what would you choose?RD: King of Queens. Absolutely. I love King of Queens. I love comedy, and theres certain guys you just look at them and they make you laugh, and Kevin James just makes me laugh. I have not met him; I would love to meet him. I would love to sit downstairs with him and the crew while theyre watching a game or discussing something, because theyre all freaking losers (laughs). It would definitely be King of Queens.DW: If you were a WWE wrestler, Hockey Sock Rock would be your entrance music?RD: That would work.DW: How did that song come about?RD: Canadian actor Alan Thicke put Hockey Sock Rock together. Basically, the reason he wanted to do it was to raise money for diabetes. I think his sons a diabetic, is it Robin, or possibly his oldest? One of his boys is diabetic. He wanted to raise awareness and raise money. We didnt have a gold record, but I think we had a bronze in Canada. The idea was just raise money for charity. Id love to revisit that and do it again. It was a lot of fun, and this was in 82 I think. Can you imagine nowadays in the studio with the way we do videos? And I would design all the clothes (laughs). The audio would be great, and I think we would be able to pull it off. I dont know why they havent resurrected that thing, do the Hockey Sock Rock all over again. I think in Canada it would be a hit!   #495520355 / gettyimages.com DW: I think so too; we need to make that happen!RD: Ya.DW: Go out on a limb and make a crazy prediction about this NHL season.RD: Im going to take the Islanders. I predicted they were going to make the playoffs, but Ive been quiet about saying that. I said that theyre going to be real close to the Rangers. So ya, Im going to say the Islanders are going to make the playoffs.DW: Can you still go BarDown?RD: Yes. When I shoot I aim to shoot high now, because most goaltenders go down. So ya, bar down… Im shooting top shelf. Brandon Doughty Jersey . -- League scoring leader Anthony Mantha had two goals and two assists to lead the Val-dOr Foreurs over the Blainville-Boisbriand Phoenix 6-3 on Wednesay in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play on Wednesday. Cody Parkey Jersey . The CFL will help tackle womens cancers by playing four special "CFL PINK" games this weekend.TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Lightning have put themselves in position for home-ice in their opening playoff round against Montreal. Richard Panik, Eric Brewer and Steven Stamkos had third-period goals to help the Lightning beat the Philadelphia Flyers 4-2 on Thursday night. Tyler Johnson had the other goal for Tampa Bay, which moved within a point of Montreal for second place in the Atlantic Division. If the Lightning win their last two games, they will clinch the Atlantics runner-up spot. "To have the ability to win out and get home ice, thats what you want," Stamkos said. "You want to play meaningful games down the stretch. Obviously, we were proud to get into the playoffs, but it would be icing on the cake to get home ice. Its in our hands." Wayne Simmonds and Sean Couturier scored for the playoff-bound Flyers, who are tied for third in the Metropolitan Division with Columbus. "I thought we were up today," Philadelphia coach Craig Berube said. "I thought we competed real hard. The first five minutes, we turned the puck over a couple of times and they ended up getting a goal. But other than that, I liked the way we played tonight. We didnt finish, in my opinion, good enough." Anders Lindback played in place of injured Tampa Bay starting goalie Ben Bishop, who may not be ready for the start of the playoff series next week against Montreal due to an upper-body injury. Bishop, 37-14-7 this season, left Tuesday nights game against Toronto early in the first period after it appeared he hurt his left elbow. Lindback stopped 34 shots, including a glove save on Tye McGinns in-close rebound with 8 minutes left in the first. He came off the bench Tuesday and made 25 saves in a 3-0 victory over the Maple Leafs. ";Its a great opportunity for him, and hes seizing the moment," Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. Cordrea Tankersley Jersey. Panik won a race for the puck behind the net, moved out front and gave Tampa Bay a 2-1 lead on a back-hand rebound of his own shot 4:33 into the third. It stopped the right wings 17-game goal drought. Brewer extended the advantage to 3-1 when he beat Ray Emery from the left circle at 9:43 of the third. After the Flyers pulled within one when Tampa Bays Ondrej Palat deflected Couturiers pass past Lindback at 12:22, Stamkos power-play goal made it 4-2 with 5:46 remaining. "I thought we played well for 40 again, and then we were hit or miss in the third," Simmonds said. "We had some really good shifts, and then we had some bonehead plays which cost us the game. Were not playing smart. Were not keeping it simple." Stamkos setup Johnsons goal from the left circle 2 minutes into the game. Johnson set a team rookie record, breaking the mark set by Stamkos, with his 24th goal this season. Simmonds tied it at 1 on an in-close turnaround goal during a power play with 1:21 to go in the second. The Flyers entered with the NHLs top-ranked road power play. Emery turned aside two good scoring chances by both Stamkos and Ryan Callahan during a second-period Tampa Bay power play. He finished with 26 saves. Notes: With Lindback out of position after making a save in the third, Lightning D Radko Gudas stopped a shot in the crease. "Give me goalie pads," Gudas joked. "Lucky it hit me." ... Tampa Bay D Michael Kostka returned and had two assists after missing three games with a concussion. ... The Flyers have lost six straight road games against Tampa Bay. ... For once, the New York Yankees lost out on the bidding for one of their high-priced free agents. Alex Sandro Jersey . Numbers Game looks at the Mariners landing Robinson Cano. The Mariners Get: 2B Robinson Cano. Cano, 31, has been an elite second baseman, leading the offensive parade at the position. Sicne 2006, his 190 home runs ranks second, as does his .868 OPS and 36.9 fWAR. Clearly, hes been a top tier performer, so its no surprise that he was able to command a lucrative contract as a free agent. In addition to having a pretty sweet swing, Cano has been incredibly durable, missing a total -- total -- of 14 games in the last seven seasons, with more than 650 plate appearances in six of the last seven seasons. Naturally, Cano wont remain this productive as he heads into his late thirties, but the more immediate concern ought to be about park effects, moving from a lefthanded-hitters haven, Yankee Stadium, to cavernous Safeco Field. Over the course of his career, Cano has hit .309 with an .837 OPS in 40 games at Safeco, about the same as his career marks (.309/.860), but four home runs in those 40 games is below Canos career home-run rate (which is one every 6.7 games). While offence is his calling card, Cano has become an asset in the field as well. Since 2009, his 38 Defensive Runs Saved ranks fourth at the position and his Ultimate Zone Rating is above average for that span. The issue, of course, is that Cano is 31 and doesnt figure to be increasing his range as he gets olders so, at some point over the life of this deal, hes pretty much assured to be a liability at second base and then it could be a matter of finding him another position. Where all of this leads is to a certain point of inevitability, that by the time Cano is 37, 38-years-old, on a contract that pays him through age 41, hes not going to be productive enough to warrant $24-million per season. Since 1960, among second basemen that were at least 37-years-old, there are a total of four (Joe Morgan, Davey Lopes, Jeff Kent and Craig Biggio) that recorded a fWAR of at least 5.0, total, after that point in their careers, so its asking a lot for Cano, even if he is going to be a Hall of Famer, to be overly productive through that age. That leaves the potential for 3-5 years of marginal production at the end of the deal. Given the annual cost, thats a pretty steep premium for the Mariners to pay. With Cano in the fold, the Mariners have more moves coming. Nick Franklin, their 2009 first-round pick, showed some promise last season, hitting a dozen home runs with a .225 batting average and .686 OPS in 102 games. Hes just 22 and hit .287 with an .819 OPS in five minor-league seasons, an indication that he should be able to hit at the major league level. Now that Cano is blocking Franklin at second base and Brad Miller is at shortstop, it seems likely that Franklin will be part of another transaction for Seattle, possibly to improve the pitching staff. From the Yankees perspective, they have signed Kelly Johnson, who offers respectable power -- his 79 home runs since 20010 ranks fourth among second basemen -- to a one-year deal and hes a fine stopgap solution. If there is a benefit to be gained by losing the leagues best second basemen, its in the financial flexibility that is gained and how the Yankees might spend money they had earmarked for Cano. If thats merely the Jacoby Ellsbury signing, then its hard to see this as a net gain, but if the Yankees turn around and add more pieces because they have room in the budget to do so, then it becomes easier to justify a fiscally-responsible decision, even if thats the last thing to expect from the Yankees. Scott Cullen can be reached at Scott.Cullen@bellmedia.ca and followed on Twitter at http://twitter.com/tsnscottcullen. For more, check out TSN Fantasy on Facebook. Paulo Dybala Jersey . According to Yahoo! Sports, the team has reached a five-year deal to play their home games on the roof of the Plaza Hotel and Casino. Carlo Pinsoglio Jersey .J. -- Patrick Sharp is on one of those streaks.COLUMBUS, Ohio -- After a forgettable weekend, Anton Khudobin helped the Carolina Hurricanes get a much-needed victory on Tuesday night. Khudobin made a career-high 46 saves and Andrei Loktionov and Patrick Dwyer each had a goal and an assist to send Carolina past the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-1. Nathan Gerbe also scored, and Jay Harrison added two assists for the Hurricanes, who were criticized by coach Kirk Muller after weekend losses to Boston and Edmonton. "In the neutral zone we did a better job of getting speed and getting on the forecheck," Carolinas Jordan Staal said. Boone Jenner scored for Columbus, which outshot the Hurricanes 19-0 in the third period. Carolina jumped ahead at 3:41 on its first shot. Gerbe grabbed a loose puck that defenceman Fedor Tyutin couldnt handle and on an odd-man rush and scored his 15th of the season from the right circle. "When you score first its always important and gives you a little confidence," Khudobin said. "Im happy with the win. I would probably be more happy if I didnt get scored on with like a minute left. But we got the result, we won. Thats most important for me." The Hurricanes were close to a playoff spot on Feb. 7, but they entered the game having lost nine of 12 and are likely to miss the post-season again. The Blue Jackets are in a tight race in the Eastern Conference playoff race. They dropped a rare one at home where they are 10-3-1 in their past 14. "It seemed we had some pretty good quality chances," Columbus coach Todd Richards said. "We hit a couple posts (during the game). We had our opportunities. I think we were doing some things to create offence. We just werent able to finish." Sergei Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 20 shots. Custom Juventus Jerseys. . He was replaced by Curtis McElhinney to start the third period. Early in the second period, Loktionov poked home his fifth to make it 2-0 on the power play -- and Carolinas eighth shot -- with Jenner in the box for delay of game. Bobrovksy stopped Harrisons point shot -- that broke the stick of Columbus Derek MacKenzie propelling the blade into the slot -- but defenceman Jack Johnson couldnt stop Loktionov. "I think the second period we picked it up and basically we scored at the right time with timely goals," Muller said. Columbus had chances the rest of the period, but couldnt beat Khudobin, who made a nice stop on R.J. Umberger. The Blue Jackets took two more penalties in the period that tempered their momentum. Then with room down the right side, Dwyer scored his seventh at 17:20 on a slap shot from the right circle that beat Bobrovsky near side. In the third period, Khudobin turned aside one shot after another until Jenner scored his 13th on a redirection with 50 seconds left. "Its funny, weve been on the other end so many times this year outshooting teams and coming up short," Muller said. "Change it around tonight and your goalie wins the hockey game. I guess it balances it out." Notes: The 47 shots for Columbus were a season high. ...The Hurricanes last won in Columbus on March 8, 2004, a span of four games. ... Blue Jackets LW Blake Comeau knocked Hurricanes D Ryan Murphy from the game in the first period with a hit into the glass.
